Welcome to Chestnut class

Welcome back and I hope you all had exciting and restful summers. I am really looking forward to working at West Tytherley and am so excited to have Chestnut class as my first class.

Our main focus of Autumn 1 will be History led, with a focus on the Great Fire of London. We will be learning all about where the fire started, the cause of the fire and how far it spread, why it could not be put out and what life was like during this time. We will be exploring different materials and questioning what actions were taken to prevent a fire of the same size in the future.

PE lessons will be on a Thursday so please ensure that you have the correct PE kit for these days.
