What's going on at West Tytherley Primary School?

Open Farm Sunday

On Sunday 9th June, Queenswood Farm on the Lockerley Estate opened up its site to the whole community.  Having regularly visited the farm throughout the year, the children have enjoyed finding out about their farm and learning outside the classroom.  We were amazed to see so many people there - over 700 in all!!  It was a fantastic event and enjoyed by all.

Wanting to have a small, village school experience for your child?

If you have a child that will be starting school in September and would like to visit the school to have a tour, please contact the school office on 01794340338. All are welcome.

Summer BBQ Success

We had amazing Summer BBQ on Friday 12th July.  Many thanks to our superb PTA and local community for all their support.

West Tytherley CE Primary School

is a 'Good School'

At West Tytherley, we aim to provide a caring and exciting learning environment where each child is valued and nurtured in order to achieve their full potential.

Our vision is for all children to believe in themselves, enjoy their learning, grow personally and academically 'branch by branch’, and to have skills to succeed in life.  Through our close partnership with parents and carers, we work together to support the children - ensuring that their time at West Tytherley is a happy, memorable and successful one.

At our last inspection, Ofsted found West Tytherley CE Primary to be a Good School - providing a quality education for all its learners with high standards of care and safety.

As a Church of England school, our school was also inspected by the Diocese and we were extremely proud to have been rated as 'Outstanding - in all areas'.

Our school website aims to keep you informed of everything that is ‘going on’ and ensure all associated with the school have up-to-date information.
